Kem Cho? Majaama? (How are you? Fine?)
I have always been fascinated by languages. There are so many languages all around the world, every language has something or the other which is interesting to learn or know. Similarly, ‘Gujarati’ is a very interesting language. Even many of the Non-Gujarati’s adore this language. Whenever a Non-Gujarati tries to speak in Gujarati, he would most likely say
‘Su Che’ and ‘Saaru Che’. Some Non-Gujarati’s know a little more Gujarati than ‘Su Che’ (what happened) and ‘Saaru Che’(it is good), so they also say ‘Mane badhu aavde che’ (I know everything).
You can never understand one language until you understand at least two‒Geoffrey Willans
However there are a lot more interesting Gujarati words apart from the above three.
Let us have a look at some of the Gujarati words and their meanings too.

There are many more words which are less known to us. Also the words differ from one place to the other. It is said in India the local language changes after every three kilometers. Imagine the variation!!! We have tried to bring to you commonly known words. Moreover, most of the words are used for male gender for instance the word ‘olo‘ is to address a male and for females it is ‘oli‘. We are also not gender biased 😀
I hope now you have many more Gujarati words to speak apart from ‘Su Che’, ‘Saaru Che’ and ‘Mane Badhu Aavde Che’.
