In fact, there are many places offering delicious food, but are down when it comes to ambience. However, people have preferences like few like to visit places that have an eye-catching ambience while gluttons want food and can munch even if the insects have had a party on the food served to him. 
Here are some restaurants that should be on the list of ambience lovers
1) Prithvi Cafe :
Location : Besides the famous Prithvi theatre at Vile Parle
Specifications :Prithvi Cafe is a very lively place, always crowded with people. Crowd generally consists of college students and stage artists. It is a wonderful place to spend time with friends or loved ones.
Must Try : Cheese Garlic Bread, Chocolate Ganache, wide range of parathas and also the shakes. The shakes are served in unique jars.
Caution : This place is always occupied, so you might have to wait for 20-30 minutes to get a seat.
2) Grandmama’s Cafe :
Location : Juhu, Dadar and Lower Parel.
Specifications :The ambience is as good as its food. There is no item that would not quench a gourmet’s stomach or would leave anybody unsatisfied with the taste of the food they serve. Be it the love for food or ambience, this place cannot be out of your list.
Must Try : Sun dried tomatoes rissotto and Hummus.
3) Love and Latte :
Location : Many places including Fort, Malad and Andheri.
Specifications : If you are looking for a place that is away from the noise and the hustle bustle of the city this is a bingo place. Adorable place to take someone on a coffee date. Nicely done graffiti makes it unique.
Must Try : Irish Coffe and Fererro Rocher Shake.
4) British Brewing Company :
Location : Many places including Goregaon, Thane, Lower Parel.
Specifications : Gives you the nostalgia of being in a British Bar. The interior is stupendous. A perfect place to hang out and have a good time with long endless conversations.
Must Try : Nachos and pizzas are to look for.
5) Veranda :
Location : Pali Hill, Bandra.
Specifications : Veranda is a restaurant cum art gallery. It is an art gallery because the ambience makes you feel like you have come to an art gallery. The elegant chandeliers, paintings and wooden furniture would leave you amazed. Once entered, you would not want to leave the place. It would give you a romantic and luxury dining experience. It is featured under Modern Indian Cuisine.
Must Try : Gulkand Choco Bar, Dhaba Chicken Platter, Cottage Cheese Trilogy.
6) Breeze Lounge :
Location : Powai
Specifications : It serves only vegetarian food. Don’t miss the beautiful view of the sunset. Reach the place by 4-5 pm to get the appropriate table, from where you would experience amazing view.
Must Try : Cajun Tapas, Paneer Cilantro, Passion Berry.
7) Vedge:
Location : Vedge is located in fun Republic, Andheri.
Specifications : It serves only vegetarian food. It has a wonderful ambience. The interiors are nicely done. Perfect place for a family dinner.
Must Try : Fully loaded nachos.
8) Coffee by Di Bella :
Location : Many places including Mahim, BKC, Santacruz.
Specifications : It is a good place to hangout with friends and to have unlimited conversations over coffee. Though the name is Coffee by Di Bella, it is known for their lip smacking waffles.
Must Try : Chocolate Explosion Waffles.
9) Some like it hot :
Location : 4 Bungalows, Andheri.
Specifications : This place plays some real good music. It has wonderful theme and interiors. The whole restaurant has retro styled red sofa seating. It is a place to be visited with friends. Go to some like it hot when they have the karaoke night, and you will have a great time unless you are someone who likes it quiet.
Must Try : Blueberry Cheese Cake and Spaghettis
10) Ray’s Cafe and Pizzeria :
Location : It is a tiny little place on the hill road, Bandra (just behind mamagoto).
Specifications : You get a good feel when you walk in. It has a old world charm with a beautiful decor. It would somewhat give you a feeling of Goa restaurants.
Must Try : Cheese Garlic Bread and Mojito .
Caution : The pizza tasted too much of tomatoes. If you don’t like much of tomato, tell the guy to suggest some pizza accordingly.
